Frank J. Campisano Co.'s HistoryThe Frank J. Campisano Co. was formed in 1958 by Frank J. Campisano. The company has emerged as a major electronics representative firm in the Mid-West with its main office in Cincinnati, Ohio. Branch offices are located in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Sales staff consists of nine technically trained individuals located throughout the territory for maximum efficiency. Coverage includes seven (7) sales people covering Ohio, three (3) sales people covering Indiana, three (3) sales people covering Kentucky, one (1) sales person covering western Pennsylvania and two (2) sales people covering West Virginia. With sales offices located throughout the territory, most salesmen are able to operate with a minimum of overnight travel, and they are usually located near their major customers. All salesmen are equipped with the latest electronic communication equipment. The sales team spends the maximum amount of their time selling because of our Customer Service Department. The Customer Service Department located in Cincinnati services the entire territory. This department provides our customers with immediate action on order entry, expediting and general information, while allowing the outside sales staff to concentrate on more specific sales issues. The department also works with distributors on special pricing and samples, while coordinating this with our sales staff. The department is fully networked and on-line with our major manufacturers for order entry, stock checks, sample requests, order expedities, special pricing and more done via computer. The Distributor Coordinators assist our distribution network by providing technical assistance and training along with motivational and promotional support. They schedule meetings for quarterly reviews and assist with budgeting and territory quotas. Through this effort, our distributor network is becoming a most effective sales tool for our manufacturers. As members of the Electronics Representatives Association (ERA), our employees benefit from the many seminars and meetings offered by the association. Our long standing membership and current monthly attendance at Chapter meetings show our continued commitment to ethics in our industry. ERA's National Management Conference is attended on a regular basis. Marianne Laine recently held a Board Position in the Ohio Chapter as Vice President of Distribution. The Frank J. Campisano Co. continues to grow based on the philosphy of working closely with our customers, determining their requirements, and offering quality, state-of-the-art products from our principals. Our service and follow-up guarantees the successful fulfillment of the customers' expectations. The proper sales channel, direct or distribution, is then determined. We intend to be the easiest, most productive source for both our customers and principals. We have a vision: Customers and Principals for Life.
